Popcaan laments Jamaica road conditions amid flooding

Dancehall Entertainer Andre Sutherland, more popularly known as Popcaan, is once again the lamenting the conditions of the nation’s roads.

The post comes after a tropical wave currently over the central Caribbean is influencing weather conditions across the island. The tropical wave is causing rains and heavy winds in several parishes.

Popcaan is no stranger to speaking about the condition of the roads. Back in 2017 the Unruly Entertainer led scores of placard-bearing residents through the town of Morant Bay in St Thomas, as they peacefully protested what they described as the deplorable conditions of the roads.

More recently in January 2024 he embarked on a drain cleaning exercise in the parish to prevent flooding and subsequent road damage.
